Delivery, Collection & Venue Setup
Wedding cakes may be collected where the design and structure make collection suitable. Professional delivery and venue setup are also available and are recommended for tiered or delicate cakes.
Delivery and setup are quoted individually according to the venue location, number of tiers, access requirements and setup involved. Please provide your venue details when booking your consultation so these arrangements can be discussed and included in your quotation.

Book Your £35 Wedding Cake Consultation
Your consultation is a relaxed, one-hour appointment, available in person or by telephone. We will discuss your wedding date and venue, guest numbers, preferred size, flavours, design style, finish, dietary requirements, delivery and venue setup. You may select up to four flavours to taste. The £35 consultation fee will be credited towards your wedding-cake deposit when you proceed with a booking. For telephone consultations, collection or delivery of tasting samples will be arranged separately.

How far in advance should I book?+
Six weeks is the minimum guide, but earlier is recommended for popular wedding dates and detailed designs.
What does the £35 consultation include?+
A focused planning appointment, up to four tasting flavours, serving and style guidance, and clear next steps. The fee is credited against your deposit when you book your cake.
Can I choose different flavours for each tier?+
Yes. Different tier flavours can be planned during your consultation, subject to the final structure and design.
Do you deliver and set up wedding cakes?+
Delivery and setup can be included in your quotation after Cakelin reviews the venue, distance, access and cake design.
Can dietary requirements be accommodated?+
Share every allergy or dietary need before tasting. Cakelin will explain what can be accommodated and any cross-contact limitations.
